WHAT I'M PACKING FOR OUR TRIP TO SPAIN

Next month we’ll be heading to Spain and I cannot wait. Although we’ve had some lovely weather recently here in Scotland I can’t wait to be away from everyday life, enjoy some proper heat and eat all of the amazing Spanish food on offer.

At the start of our two week trip we’re staying in Seville for four nights. Even though it won’t quite be the height of summer the weather is still likely to be extremely hot. We’re then staying at my parents’ villa close to Granada where I spend to plan most of my days by the pool, drinking sangria and eating tapas at local bars.

The itinerary of this trip means that I’ll need cool but flattering pieces for Seville and then casual and comfortable items for time at the house.

During my official holiday countdown I’ve bought this Gal Meets Glam Alma dress which will keep me cool on those hot days in the city and this Darla jumpsuit which I can’t wait to wear with these comfortable Castaner wedge espadrilles. Plenty of linen and cotton dresses are definitely needed.

I'm also packing a couple of straw hats including this very affordable sun hat from H&M which looks great with these also affordable tortoiseshell sunglasses. Of course I’m also packing as many straw bags as I can fit in my suitcase. A mix of large wicker bags for shopping and smaller more structured woven bags for evenings out for dinner and drinks should see me through the holiday!
