Last summer I went through a polka dot obsession phase. My wardrobe quickly seemed to turn into a sea of spotty jumpsuits, trousers and dresses and all season long I wore my favourite new print.

This year, I haven’t quite been so dotty but have found a few pieces that have carried on the trend. This polka dot yellow dress from Boden is a current favourite. I love the soft jersey material which is so easy and comfortable to wear plus the shade of yellow suits my skin tone, which can be difficult being a blonde.

Also available in sky blue and navy, I recently wore it paired with blue suede mules, a round rattan bag and super soft cardigan to catch up with some of my favourite girls and their little ones. We were heading to a local park to catch up over lunch before taking a stroll so I wanted to be comfortable and warm enough yet dressed like my usual self - in a dress.

Vintage inspired with a button-down front and tie waist, the material is also incredibly easy to wash meaning that this dress will likely become a new favourite to wear to the office. During the week I try to only wear items which are easy to wash and iron so that wearing them on repeat doesn’t ruin the design or fabric.

If you’re looking for some spotty inspiration then here are some of my current favourite polka dot clothing pieces and accessories.
