My beauty regime completely changes when summer arrives. I move away from heavy moisturisers needed in the winter and towards lighter products that keep both my hair and skin happy during the warmer weather.

Keep reading to find my latest beauty secret weapons for the summer.

This deep cleansing clay face mask is what I rely on for sorting any breakout. It's full of purifying and balancing oils that hydrate and calm the skin. And with extracts including rose geranium it smells amazing.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery

This eye cream is by far my favourite and a long established part of my beauty routine. I find it's the best concentrate for banishing dark circles - just a small amount leaves eyes feeling hydrated and less tired-looking.

AVEDA Phomollient Styling Foam

I wish I had bouncy full hair but I just don't. However, this styling foam sorts that out. A couple of pumps of the mousse rubbed into the roots of hair and through to the ends gives a much fuller blow dry that stays in shape much longer.

KORRES Wild Rose Moisturiser

I've only recently started using this moisturiser but it's perfect for the summer months. It's slightly lighter than my usual Kiehl's Ultra Facial Mosituriser and I love the rose scent. Fast absorbing but still hydrates well.

ESPA Soothing Eye Lotion

When hay fever season strikes I instantly put a bag of sliced cucumber in the fridge with the hope that placing it on my eyes in a few hours will take out any puffiness. So far this hasn't been the best strategy but this soothing eye lotion from ESPA does just the trick. The chamomile and watermelon is really refreshing.

EOS Sweet Mint Lip Balm

These little pocket lip balms are full of vitamins and rich oils ideal for keeping lips soft and smooth when the weather is warm. I always have one in my bag and one on my bedside cabinet.

ESPA Naturally Radiant Gradual Tan

This serum is great for creating a long-lasting summer glow. I mix a few drops with my everyday moisturiser each night before bed and wake up the next morning with a healthy bronze look. Unlike many tanning products, this product doesn't have a strong smell and instead a slight scent of sweet orange.

Wild Argan Miracle Oil

Argan oil can pretty much be used for anything but I love using it in my hair. I add a few drops before blow-drying or before straightening to stop any flyaways.

ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud

This intensive mineral-rich treatment is a great summer treat for hair. It smells amazing and leaves hair feeling stronger as well as more manageable - perfect for after a day on the beach or in the pool.
