MY FAVOURITE MAKE UP PRODUCTS

I have drawers, boxes and cabinets of make up products. There are so many items out there to choose from and I love trying new things, but most of the time I go back to my favourite products.

I have a select few items that work for me that I use everyday. I like to keep my makeup quite simple and natural, with a little colour on my cheeks and lips rather than my eyes to create a bit of a glow.

I usually start with a pink-based primer to give my skin a balanced tone and to create a good base for my foundation. This Collection illuminating primer in a rose shade may be one of the cheapest product in my make up bag but it's one of the best.

The sheer creme-liquid applies really well and feels lovely and soft. It holds my foundation  well and helps to combat any dark circles round my eyes.

For foundation I use Yves Saint Laurent Teint Touche Éclat. I've been using this foundation for years - it comes in a great selection of colours and provides full flawless coverage. I only have a to use a small amount, using a blending brush to apply, and my make up stays in place all day.

To touch up any imperfections or get rid of dark circles, I use the Bourjois radiance reveal concealer. It has a silky finish which hydrates for hours helping to smooth skin and give a healthy glow.

I usually then add Chanel Les Beiges powder over my cheek bones, chin and nose for a sun-kissed look. Topping up with a little Bourjois rose blusher on my cheeks, I have a glowing look and natural tan.

For my eyes I tend to only use mascara. I've tried plenty of mascaras but the Dior overcurl has got to be my favourite. It's easy to apply, and also easy to remove, giving plenty of volume and length.

Last but not least is my personalised make up bag from LRM Goods. It's the perfect size and can be kept clean. I'm also a lover of anything personalised so I love that it's unique to me.
